LEOSA doesn't have a time-of-service requirement for retirees who retire because of a service-related disability. You only have to have completed probation, have a right to non-forfeitable benefits, and the disability can't be for reasons of mental instability.carlson1 wrote:I have a medical retirement. I recently got a Utah permit. It only took a couple of weeks, but was more expensive than NH. Interesting thing, I copied my Texas License and sent it to UT with the application and they almost instanly sent the permit back with a letter saying it would be revolked if anything showed up in the background check. Now why can't Texas do that with renewals?Charles L.
