Hello.
I took the class on February 9th, mailed it on the 11th, & got receipt confirmation on the 14th.Waiting patiently.I don't have a PIN to check the status of my application, however. According to the DPS website, I have to e-mail them my D/L #,SSN, & CHL license #, & they'll give me a PIN...but I don't have a "license" #? I'm certain that, the answer is probably obivous & I'll feel like an idiot, but what do I use for the license #?
Ok,I'm on the clock, but no PIN?

Always Remember:
A firearm is only an instrument. It contains no evil, no conscience, and no ability. It is strictly the intent, competence, and character of its user that decide the outcome of any and all actions taken with it.

It is the number on the paper you filled out with your instructor. If you applied online, you should already have it on the packet they mailed to you. I did mine online, but the people in my class who didnt had to fill out an application. The license # is the number on the application. You should be able to contact your instructor if you cant find it. Welcome to the room.

You will probably get your PIN mailed to you about a month (give or take a few days) after they received your application. After it arrives, it just gives you another thing to watch and wait on.
