Is it possible that a deceased relative passed a property to you in their will and you never got any notification on it?

Understood, and you are most likely correct.......
You could go a bit further and look up the Dallas property tax records online and see if that person with the same name as you owes the 11K and you could then be certain that they have you confused with that person. May help explain it to them when you call. Problem is though, you may not get an answer when you call....they are so backlogged it appears that they have stopped answering the phones (according to another thread). GOOD LUCK!

If it's for outstanding property taxes go here
http://www.dallascad.org/SearchOwner.aspx
It will show taxable properties. Hopefully it will help.

Tester, buddy, looks like you had a busy week! Glad you're OK and it wasn't the heart! And glad you have your license on the way! Prayers for a speedy recovery for you!

Been there, done that. I don't miss my gall bladder one dang bit. Take it easy a few days, heal up, and march on.

Woohoo! So which of the 3 local Wallys are you gonna visit? Want some company? We could make an 'event' out of it!
