NH: Cop shoots cop while training

Post by KBCraig »

NH Attorney General Kelly Ayotte is going to run out of room under that rug. She's swept too much stuff underneath it already!

I've never seen so many words used to justify pointing a loaded pistol at another human being and pulling the trigger.

Shot by Concord cop an 'accident'

On the early evening of April 30, two Concord police officers discovered an unlocked door in a bank under construction. Some eight hours later, one of the two took a bullet to his protective vest when a police sergeant accidentally fired his gun while wrapping up a makeshift training session inside the building.

The details of the shooting were disclosed yesterday by New Hampshire Attorney General Kelly Ayotte, who determined the shooting was an accident and no crime could be proved against the shooter, veteran Concord police Sgt. Steven Smagula. (More.)
