130+ days...Should I call DPS?
Ok, so my packet was received the first week of March. My packet sat at somebody's desk for almost 3 FULL MONTHS (mid-late May) before I was contacted by them and was notified I needed to sign some other form and send additional info which I did and returned within a week. After that (early June) status changed from "packet mailed to applicant" to " processing appl." Its been about 2 months and a TOTAL OF 130 DAYS...not counting the week of delay. Should I contact them first before my representative? Thanks for your suggestions.

I hate to be the one to break it to you - but your time started when they had a completed application. That would be the late May/early June date you mentioned. So you are only at 45 days right now. Yeah, I know they have had it for longer than that, but not the way the statute is written.
