CCIDPA this Saturday?

Post by davefrmmrfy »

Just a quick question. I see that for Saturday (7/19), Jacobs Plain is scheduled. Is it still on regardless of heat? I want to stop by but at $4.00 a gallon I don't want to waste the trip.

The match is on. regardless of heat. They're actually planning a pretty big match.

This is a quote from the CCIDPA forum (you must register to see the forum)
The match this Saturday, 7/19/08, at JPGC is planned with 73 paper and steel targets across 10 stages. Round count is minimum 166. The shooting will start at 10:00 while it is still cool.

I won't be at this one but have shot matches like this with CCIDPA in the past. It's about as close as you can get to a sanctioned match. The only things missing are trophies, prize table and high match fee. If I wasn't already doing something else, I would not miss this match.
I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961
