Family Ranch

Post by jhutto »

For those of you that don't know my family raises Whitetail deer and runs a hunting ranch in West Texas. I'll try to get some photos in here, but there are some photos of the ranch and the pens at our website. www.lucky7whitetails.com
I think the website may be down for maint for the next couple hours...

The breeding bucks really arnt for shooting and 200 bc and up usually sell for 25k up to over several hundred thousand.depending on the animal. (They sell to people who want to breed more animals, or who want to improve the genetics on their ranch) Generally for monitary gain through increased lease_ hunting income over the resulting larger antlers. However their are many trophy class deer available for hunting in the ranch section. - I believe there is a pricing sheet there on the website. The prices range based on duration, and type of animal you shoot. Ex cull buck vs buck scoring a certain BC. I will be guiding some hunts this coming season.

Come on Lotto!!!!

Curious as to what this monster's estimated score was when the pic was taken?

Man oh man I would love a monster like that on my wall but as I mentioned before I would have to win the Lotto to afford a 200+ BC buck. I'm 44yr's old and have not hunted deer since I was 8yr's old and I only desire a true trophy as my dad and brother keep enough deer, Axis, Fallow and other assorted meat's in their freezer's if I want some.
