Well, good news is that it fits in the IDPA box so the other model Berettas with frame safeties should too. Those include the Stock, Short Combat, Steel and Billineum as well as the original 92 but that frame safety was much smaller. Definitely need to decide on a reload method. That slide lock is harder to reach with my thumb with that frame safety and while reloads were easy, getting that slide forward wasn't. Also, getting that thing off-safe proved to need some memory work because I wound up snicking it off at different times during my draw. All things that will need a little work but can be easily remedied with practice.
Accuracy was superb and it hit exactly where I was aiming when I used the sights. I admit that targets at about 7yds or less I don't use the sights much unless I need to make certain I don't miss a shot. The CompTac gear was exceptional as expected............got to meet some more people. There were 26 shooters there and at least 6 were women who all did very well. I'm very pleased with this pistol. To date, it's the best pistol I've ever owned
