for anyone interested I chronographed a few rounds of Speer Gold Dot 124gr +P in a Glock 26 and got these numbers:

1213, 1156, 1183, 1137, 1167, 1189, 1155, 1189, 1187, 1154, and 1148fps.

Note: this is the standard +P load, not the 'short-barrel' load.
