Looking for a shooting range in Channelview, TX
I am wanting to join a shooting range does anyone know of one close to the Channelview area? I have been to several in Houston, but paying $10 to $15 per hour gets to be costly. Anyone that knows of some in the are I would appreciate your thoughts on them. Thanks D
Thanks David

Almost. Bay Area Shooting Club is just east of Crosby. Go north to new US90 and go east a few miles.

Basic membership runs $120 and the membership runs from Sept 1-Aug 31. You may buy up to three guest passes at $15 each. There are also Family and Spouse options.
We do have a requirement that you attend a safety orientation and beginning November 1st, there will be a $10 charge for the orientation. We have one free orientation remaining on Oct. 28th, 7pm, at the VFW, 8204 N. Main, Baytown. If you attend, you could be ready to use the range the next day. Otherwise, mail both ways, waiting for the next orientation, and time to process badges turns the wait into 2-4 weeks.
There is an application available on the website above or if you will PM me your email address, I can email you one.
We currently have a 200yd range with a covered firing line and a large area cleared for shooters to being their own trap (or use the cheap one in the range house) and shoot clays. No formal houses or layout, though.
Construction is almost complete on a U-shaped pistol and rimfire range that should be at least 50 yds with about a 90' firing line that will eventually be covered.
If you need to see the range first, I can meet you.
