Disarming at a HS

Post by gemini »

This is more a vent. I know it's probably been discussed to death
but....mod if it's the wrong place then feel free to move it. Thanks.

I love supporting my kids, but I hate having to either disarm and leave
my gun in the car or leave it at home, when I attend a HS function.
Though not in a really bad part of town, the school isn't in a great
part of town either. Cars get broken into etc.etc. I usually opt for leaving
it at home. There is only one solution. Let CHL carry where LEO can carry.
Period. Leave it in the car and risk theft. Leave it at home and go gun-naked.
Neither appeals to me. :grumble

BTW, if you haven't called your State Rep urging them to support
HB1893 (campus carry) AND urge them to not support HB1395 (anti
hunting via animal cruelty) please take the time to do so.
While your at it, call your State Sen and urge them to support SB1164
(campus carry) and SB730 (parking lot). It only takes a few minutes
and your call just might make a difference.
