I still havent recieved my PIN in the mail yet. A friend that took the class with me, who mailed his packet 3 days before me, got his PIN in the mail last week.

What's the usual general timeframe for getting that back in the mail?

CHL course Taken: January 24th, 2009
Application Mailed: January 31st, 2009
PIN recieved : March 4th, 2009
Certificate Active: April 18, 2009 (Day 77)
Plastic In Hand : April 20th, 2009 (Day 79)

I mailed my packed on 2/2/09 and DPS just updated the status of my packet to Processing Application. So 4 weeks from the day they receive it seems right. From what I have seen you should see your PIN arrive in the mail this week.

1/31/09 -- Class Taken
2/02/09 -- Packet mailed
2/04/09 -- Confirmed delivery
3/04/09 -- Status Processing
4/04/09 -- Contacted Rep application is being "expedited"
5/13/09 -- Background complete
5/28/09 -- Status - Application Complete (Next Day Air on License)
5/29/09 -- Plastic in hand!

I was hasty in posting.....I GOT THE PIN IN THE MAIL TODAY!!!
