Free NRA Membership?

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

I don't know -- how are you reading it?

Membership is not free, but you get certain free benefits as a part of your membership (I believe).

Well, shucks. I've been wrong before, I'm certainly wrong this time, and I probably will be again.

Seemed to work just now for me... Even let me pick a magazine and offered to sign me up for another credit card.

If you click on the radio button at the bottom of the page it will take you to another page that reads:
To take a stand for the defense of firearms freedoms and accept the offer of a one-year NRA gift membership, please enter your information below and choose one of NRA's award-winning magazines.

I'm already a member, so I went ahead and signed my wife up...I'll let y'all know if it works. If it does, I'll donate to keep it fair.

Shawn, how did you find this link?

I found it on another forum I frequent. I think it might have been on texas gun talk maybe. I signed the wifey up for it last night. It seemed like everything worked fine and was legit. I did the free one and it didn't ask me for credit card # or anything. It seemed just like it did when I signed myself up except I had to enter a credit card number.

In another forum someone actually emailed the NRA and they responded back to him saying that it was legit.

I just signed my son up for a membership.

I should perhaps mention that he's only nine months old! ;-)

Funny thing is, at 9 months of age, he already has a Red Ryder BB gun and a .22 rifle, that his grandfather purchased for him for when he's older.

This is probably somehow being charged back to the member who originally received the offer "rlol"

If anyone clicked on the 2/3/5/life option, it offers 1 year free (i.e. 2 years for $25) and a free commemorative Charleton Heston knife. AND Life membership is only $500. :woohoo

Why Not?
I believe there is safety in numbers..
numbers like: 9, .22, .38, .357, .45, .223, 5.56, 7.62, 6.5, .30-06...
