Primer Seating Problem ??

I have been having a problem seating small pistol primers primers in a 9mm brass marked WCC 08. No trouble with any other brass !! does anyone have any suggestions or answers?

Most military ammo has a crimped primer pocket. You will see a little ridge of brass around where the primer seats. You can buy a tool to remove it. I like the Lyman reamer. The Holland tool is more expensive, but looks good. It will do both small and large primer pockets.
I have used RCBS swagers, but didn't like them. They round the entire primer pocket rather than just the crimp.

Wild Bill, tahnks for the info. I am new to this. I guess i will just chunk the WCC brass unless i save up enough to warrent buying the tool and spending the extra time to deprime. Thanks again

If you don't want to buy the tool, I am sure you won't have any trouble giving away the brass. BTW you only have to use the tool once on each case to remove the crimp after you deprime. After that they will prime and load the same as your other brass. It's really a good tool to have. If you plan to shoot .45ACP, .223Rem,.308Win or 30-06 military brass you need the tool for them too.

Don't chunk it. It's good trade bait and salable, though for less than commercial brass since it'll require an extra step for whomever buys it.

I have had so many problems with those cases that I gave up and now throw them in the " scrap brass" bucket.
