Went out this evening and fired my "first" reloads from my Kimber Ultra Aegis II (3" 9mm) Relaods shot great only 1 jamb on first shot the next 20 rounds cycled perfect !!! Then I fired some factory Remington rounds and got numerous jambs and some not even ejected etc. Does this sound common ??
You would think this might happen on the reloads. Gun was clean when i started !! Any suggestions ????????????

Re: Reloads vs Factory !!
I have a few questions for reference before we can start to diagnose the issues.
What is the round count in the gun?
Where are the reload set for power top or bottom of the data?
Did you have a good firm grip?

Re: Reloads vs Factory !!
OK here goes, Reloads are 115 gr fmj loaded with Hodgdon hp-38 loaded at 5.0
The first jamb was ejected half way when cleared all others cycled fine.
The Remington are 115 gr fmj but have no clue what the powder charge is. The jambs on the Remington range from partial ejections to no ejections to the last round trying to eject and sticking out of the chamber like a snow cone un fired.
Grip was like normal (no problems before) Clip was 8 in clip 1 in chamber

New Kimber? It sounds like a gun still needing a break in...
No damage control is ever as good as prevention.
