I'm wondering if gun owners make up a large portion of the listeners to satellite radio. I got my periodic "what's on XM" email today, and it contained a poll. The question was "Which Obama Administration policy do you believe will be most effective?". The choices were Economic Policy, Foreign Policy, Domestic Policy, All the above, None of the Above. Given the para-election Obama love fest, I anticipated the results would be largely in favor of the president's policies. Imagine my surprise:
Economic Policy: 5%; Foreign Policy 6%; Domestic Policy [which I'm assuming reflects gun policy]: 2%; All the above: 19%; and (drum roll please) None of the Above: 66%! Amazing!

Re: XM/Sirius Poll
That is very surprising. I saw a poll similar to that one and I was shocked, too, by those numbers. However, the surprising one is on his popularity which hasn't change much.
He is still giving his presentations all over the country with rock star flare and has a following of obamacans with stars in their eyes hoping to see him.
There again, It seems people may be starting to step back and look at the situation we are in, where we are headed and are beginning to question things like spending, deficit, foreign policy and government take over of private industry, banking and car companies.
As gun enthusiast we are holding our breath and waiting. We already know his policy and tactics on gun control and he has certainly surrounded himself with like minded people and appointed them to powerful positions.
I guess we will just have to take an wait and see approach to the future...and pray a lot!

Re: XM/Sirius Poll
Lately I have been noticing, and not just me, a marked polarization in t-shirt politics.
Lots more "N0bama" type t-shirts in Home Depot these days.
I am hopeful that what we may be seeing is CHANGE generated by the populace realizing what a poor choice the socialistic Chicago politician was, and there is quite a bit of hope that a second term will be next to impossible.

This is Texas we don't look at the world like a lot of other places do.We didn't like him as a candidate, and we don't like him now. It took a lot of ignorant people to vote in Obama, and in fairness he is delivering the socialism he promised as a candidate.jimlongley wrote:Lately I have been noticing, and not just me, a marked polarization in t-shirt politics.
