Did she shoot him the 1st time to put him in intensive care?

No information about why the deceased was in the hospital is available.

This is the latest, not much useful info: http://www.dailymail.com/News/200906140387" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

HIPAA (federal law) prohibits hospitals from giving detailed information about patients even after death. Probably nothing will be available until it becomes public information in the form of a medical examiner's or police report.

It's amusing to read some of the comments from people who were in the hospital at the time but had nothing to do with the case. Now they are shocked and want better security.

This kind of thing happens about once a year nationwide, either an estranged spouse or lover or a gang member finishing off a member of a rival gang.

I think most people assume that it's hard to walk around with a gun on you at all times. I know I did until I tried it. :evil2:

It's the same mentality that thinks laws and "no guns" signs work.

Aren't there easier and less suspicious ways to kill someone in the ICU?

At one time you might have been able to shut off the patient's respirator or something like that. Now everything has alarms that attract the nurses quickly.

Whatever happened, it's clear that this woman wanted the guy dead and didn't care if she got caught.
