Two stories with different endings

Capitol Heights, Maryland (Washington area) -- A 30-year-old man who was the subject of a restraining order broke into a home around 8 a.m. Saturday and attacked the woman who lived there. She shot him. He ran out of the house and died outside.

No charges are pending.

Very slim on details. I'm guessing this was an ex-boyfriend, spouse, or stalker.

Mount Holly, North Carolina (Charlotte area) -- a 40-year-old man shot and killed his 35-year-old girlfiriend in her home. He has been arrested and charged with murder. Police said the two had been dating for several months.
