Why can't they tell me what is wrong on line so I can start fixing it and get it sent out monday. This process is so messed up it makes you forget that it is state run and not federal.

Wow! What a living nightmare! I feel so badly for you. Sorry it's happening.Coffeyc wrote:Alright, I just got off the phone with those yahoos, and they tell me that they need two forms of proof that I am in the military. Apparently my ID copied front and back is not good enough, and the fact that my home adress where they are sending me a letter is Lackland Air Force Base.
I asked if that meant that everything else was good to go, as in background checkes and what not. He said no we have not even begun to process it. We cannot process an incomplete application.
Seriously it took from mid january til July 3rd to realize you needed more information from me.![]()
I believe that what they need from you are a current LES and a copy of your orders posting you to your current assignment.Coffeyc wrote:Alright, I just got off the phone with those yahoos, and they tell me that they need two forms of proof that I am in the military. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't your received e-mails go away when you highlight them and press "delete"? Likewise, isn't your phone conversation concluded when you hang up? Do y'all really think it's any different in anyone else's house/office/world?
A written letter/request/confirmation never goes away. It is a record that can be reproduced and demands recognition. Do y'all get my drift?
