It would seem to me that an objective report would have raised the question of ineffective gun control laws.

Sounds like the shot placement wasn't meant to kill, just neuter...About 12:50 a.m. Sunday, a 40-year-old man was shot three times -- twice in the groin and once in the leg -- during a possibly domestic-related incident at 8127 S. Coles Ave. in the South Chicago neighborhood, police said.
