This is the funniest line in the article.

Customs agents were sacked after some were found to be linked to contraband operations, according to sources at the ministry.

Like it was a big secret and the government dudes in charge just found out......


Of course they snuck in the "Guns from America" angle. We can't have story about Mexico without that.
