That's great Dan. Have you checked the DPS url to see what the status says? If you haven't, here's the link to follow:

Make sure you check the top portion that says: "Concealed Handgun License".........and not the lower portion for Instructors(unless of course you ARE an instructor).

A lot of us edit our signature line to display the progress we are making in the application process(or lack of it! )
Like I have in mine. As you can see, I only turned in my application about 10 days ago and it's not even registering that it's been put in process yet. So I've got a ways to go.
