Phoenix -- On August 8, a car struck and killed a bicycle rider in Phoenix and kept going. Witnesses identified the vehicle as a silver BMW. Police recovered some trim parts.
The owner of the car allegedly driven in the crash traded the car in the "cash for clunkers" program. An anonymous caller informed police, who procured warrants and arrested a man who is now in jail charged with manslaughter and other offenses.
