Another great quote!

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

Another great quote!

Post by stevie_d_64 »

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects. -- Lazarus Long --

Ah, that was it. I recall thinking that 'Time enough for Love' was one of Heinlein's "serious" books, where he went from writing teen pulp-sci-fi and had finally graduated to his more "adult" works.
