What are all those new-hires going to be doing after everything is caught up?

Unfortunately, that's when you change a couple letters and those new hires become new fireds
Hopefully the lay-offs will be slow and easy with a lot of warning so as to be able to find another position somewhere.

That IS good news Dan! Thanks for posting!! Those are incredible numbers there! Phew. :woohoo

There MAY be a light at the end of the tunnel after all......unless it's another freight train coming straight at us.

Dan:

I just found out that 3,000 licenses were mailed last week and 9,000 this week. DPS is pretty well caught up. They will notify me as soon as they verify that yours has been mailed. The mail from Austin to Tyler normally takes at least 4-5 working days.

But a whole new wave is waiting. I have my wife, sister, SIL, BIL, MIL, MANY friends and co-workers waiting for the backlog to clear. I say now is a good time to go? Instructors? Give us the word for the next wave. Everyone of us knows SOMEONE that said ...! NOW is that time.
