A man remains hospitalized after he was accidentally shot early Saturday during a dispute with another individual, a San Antonio Police Department report states.
Francisco Calderon was shot once below his left knee with a small-caliber handgun around 1:30 a.m. outside a home in the 1700 block of Kendalia Avenue, the report states. He was taken to Baptist Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The 22-year-old initially told police an unknown individual in a black 4-door vehicle shot him during a drive-by. Upon further questioning, Calderon changed his story saying he shot himself for attention while two other unidentified individuals at the scene were arguing, the report confirms.
The story changed a third time when police were transporting an individual from the scene for questioning. The unidentified individual told police Calderon and another person got into an argument. The unidentified person pulled out the gun and the victim accidentally shot himself when he tried to pull the gun away.
Police are investigation the incident and it wasn't immediately known if anybody would be charged in the shooting.

Unfortunately, neither does breeding in humans.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.
