Until I went to the story at the link -- and read it twice, with lots of double-checking of the photo ID -- I did not completely comprehend what (I think) seamus was alluding to... Lot of hard miles on that face...

Her very masculine features are certainly enhanced by her hair style and neck tattoo, but also because she probably has scrambled genetics i.e., she looks like a man because she partly is...
