I just noticed this a couple of days ago...Not sure if it's intentional or not.

It's residing on the TSRA server. That icon is pulled from the root of the webserver.pbwalker wrote:I just noticed this a couple of days ago...Not sure if it's intentional or not.
Re: TSRA Logo as TexasCHLForum.com site logo
That may be the case, but it can be done on a per site level...point the site to the appropriate .ico file...You don't want 15 sites using the same icon.
just figured Charles would want to know...

Code: Select all
<LINK REL="icon_file"
HREF="/your_files/logo.ico">

I do, but it makes no sense. There isn't a TSRA favicon.ico showing on my browser. The only favicon is the TexasShooting badge on TexasShooting.com. I have no idea why that showing up on your browser.
Is anyone else seeing the TSRA logo?
Chas.

It depends on which URL you use to access the site.
You will not see the icon if you use:
http://www.texaschlforum.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
You will see the icon if you use:
http://www.texasshooting.com/TexasCHL_Forum/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Never mind, there was a TSRA favicon.ico in the root directory. I have no idea how it go there or why I see only the proper TexasShooting badge.
Oh well, I deleted the incorrect one.
Thanks,
Chas.

FWIW, I refreshed my browser and both .ico files are gone, and I just see a "blank document" favicon.
