New Toy
Have been wanting a wheel gun for a while. Normally carry an auto but have that soft spot for revolvers also. I was raised shooting 38s,357,41,44s so mayby its the memories of that. So was just going to the gun shop to look. Wasnt sure what if anything did I want. Then it looked at me and I couldnt look away. DARN it. Revolvers have come a long way. I bought this one. 357 mag,8 shot,Tritium night site,Light weight scandium (basically like titanium) ,blacked out,Pachmeyer Grip with a weight of 27oz. All of this in a large -N- frame. I know smaller ones like the L frame are better for concealment but I love the larger frames for grip, look and weight balance. So after all the talk I give the New Toy
sorry just a little excited.

Nice wheel gun!
I, too, enjoy a good revolver...and one like that is on my list to get too.

Re: New Toy
Very Nice. Now we need a range report on the larger frame, lighter weight......and it needs some holster wear marks and scratches, so it knows it has a good home.

Re: New Toy
See model above in my post above yours and yes its an N-frame. Its a very beefy lookin gun as compared to L or J frame. Night Guard series.

Re: New Toy
The only thing I don't like about it is that lawyer lock. Nice gun!

Re: New Toy
I didn't know they made it either Rex. The N frame IMO is what makes the gun and being so light. The lock won't bug me as long as it doesn't effect shooting it. If it does I'll take I off. The pic doesn't do it justice.

Re: New Toy
Beautiful pistol! It kind of reminds me of this one, which I've had my eye on ($717.00 MSRP):

This one is nice too, but at almost double the price ($1,264.00 MSRP):

I have an older S&W Model 29 with a 5" barrel. It's really accurate, but heavy as sin, and I wouldn't carry it unless it was open carry and I didn't have to worry about concealment.
