M-Tac Minotaur Digging Into Side
M-Tac Minotaur Digging Into Side
Picked up an M-Tac Minotaur for my Kimber Ultra II and have a question for ya'll. The beaver tail digs into my side, has anyone else figured out how to fix this issue? I've tried raising and lowering the hight as well as going from 3:00 to 5:00 position in increments.

You may just have your belt to tight causing the gun to can't inward toward your body

That's a thought, I'll loosen it one notch to see if that helps. Thanks for the feedbackTarget1911 wrote:You may just have your belt to tight causing the gun to can't inward toward your body

Another thought is to change the cant.... I increased the cant on my 1911 one so the beavertail/grip is higher (one screw hole down in back and one up in the front from where it was when I got it) and it makes it more comfortable (for me). I wear the an XD45 compact in the M-TAC just like I got it...no change, no trouble.

another thing i did is let the 1911 ride as low as possible while still being able to get a full firing grip on the gun.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll try them all and hopefully I'll find the right combination because I really like this holster.
