If I'm not mistaken, I believe this is part of Russia making good on a contract agreed upon years ago. Just a little surprised because I remember that news a LONG time ago when Chavez and Russia hammered out the contract.

Thanks. AKM I have heard about. I had never heard of an AK 103 before.

I Googled it. I had never heard of it either. They certainly weren't carrying them in Eastern Afghanistan.

I'll admit that Russia and Che cozying up are nothing to be chipper about but.... I suppose it's a pipe dream to hope for something similar to Brazilian FAL production spilling over into the US Gun Market?
