51% sign comes and goes

A few weeks ago I noticed that several of the Exxon Tigermarts in San Antonio where I get fuel had posted 51% signs.

I know that these places are not bars. They had the usual signs about no on-premises consumption of alcohol. So I took pictures and was preparing to pay a visit to the local TABC office.

I stopped for gas at one of the stations yesterday. No 51% sign. I guess someone beat me to it.

That was at least partially me - I'm tired of local businesses basically shilling without legal cause.
