Wishing You a Merry Christmas

Post by USA1 »

I would like to wish you and your families a safe and Merry Christmas.

It would be nice to hear what plans you have for Christmas.

I will be enjoying time with my outlaws,, I mean my inlaws today and then my side of the family on Christmas day.
Fortunately , all of the family live nearby , so no one has to travel far.

My family traditionally has Mexican food for Christmas.
Its a nice break from all the Turkey and Ham from Thanksgiving.

Merry Christmas ! :tiphat:

Merry Christmas USA1 and to everyone on the forum.

We have a very quiet little celebration tonight for Christmas Eve, williamkevin, my son, his fiancee and myself. We put on Christmas music, turn off the phones and open gifts. After we're done with gifts, we have "Breakfast for Dinner" with eggs, potatoes, bacon, biscuits, gravy and whatever else we can think of. There are lots of shooting related gifts under the tree this year.

USA1, Merry Christmas to you too! We also have Mexican food for Christmas. We call it the enchilada fest, as everyone brings a different recipe of enchildas (chicken, beef, sour cream, and spinach have all graced our table) We add tamales, beans, and rice. And biscochitos for dessert!

And then, after opening presents, it is off to the range to play with all the new toys.

Merry Christmas USA1 and everyone on the forum!

Our family will open presents tomorrow morning and then soon after that we will start our Christmas lunch which will be very similar to the Thanksgiving feast we have every year. We have had 8 of our "outlaws" as you like to call them from Alabama in our house all week. Add that to the 4 people on our family and you have got a house full! But, I don't mind, it's great to get to see family members that live out of state.

After we eat our Christmas lunch it is tradition that we pack up and head to the deer lease for some recreational shooting and ATV riding. ( We've held this tradition for the past 10 years ) Neat thing about this year is that two of my nephews are old enough to shoot guns ( besides .22 and BB guns ) this year. It will be a blast to see how they do with deer rifles and pistols. Their dad has taught them great firearm safety so I'm not worried at all.

Thank you for this Christmas card.

The Grandones will be here & our meal is non traditional too.
Changes every yr. This one Soup & cornbread. That keeps the ladies out of the kitchen & playing w/ the little ones.

Our Christmas custom is:
we dont exchange gifts among adults. We have all we need. We pick a family in our church & they get a Christmas they could not have.

Grandones enjoy theirs around the nativity scene & we will get to the range too.
This yr it will be w/ already verified arms. :fire

Merry Christmas.

I'm spending Christmas Eve with my Mom and family, and then Christmas Day with my mother-in-law. If I get past these two days and gain less than 10 pounds, it will be a victory! Merry Christmas to all. Be safe, and don't drink and drive! I hope Santa is good to everyone!

Merry Christamas, going to church for Christmas eve service, then inlaws for gift exchange. My family for Christmas where my mom and grandmas make homemade tamales. I made homemade salsa this year and my wife made a jalepeno ranch dip. Pretty much the same as USA1

Merry Christmas to all and stay safe everyone. Snowing so hard here you can't see 75 yards so we ain't going and nobody coming here for safety reasons. TLynn you forgot the fresh sliced tomatos with that breakfast.

USA1 and all, Merry Christmas and a better New Year than last! Thank you for your acceptance and friendship, recent as it was.

We sing at the services tonight, then a quiet day on Christmas. :woohoo
Will probably see our kids during the day while they're in town. :patriot:
