Beretta sued often by NYC's Bloomberg. Anyone know why?

In the most recent edition of the NRA magazine "America's 1st Freedom",
there was an article about MAIG (Mayors Against Illegal Guns) and its
leader - Michael Bloomberg of NYC.

MAIG has been losing mayors over time when they realize that Bloomberg's
real aim is to disarm legal gunowners, and also to try and sue the gun makers
out of existence.

In the 3 lawsuits that were mentioned, Bloomberg had chosen to sue Beretta
in each of them.

He may have gone after other gunmakers. I assume that he has.

But does anyone know why Beretta seems to have been singled out for this
harassment?

By the way, IIRC, all the suits were thrown out since there is a law that
recognizes legal weapons commerce in the US.

Maybe Glock ought to retaliate by refusing to ship anymore pistols or parts to the NYPD, and then hizzoner can try to explain to his police union why their officers have to use increasingly wornout pistols for which they can no longer get parts. I know that's a lucrative contract, but it would be worth it to make him eat his words.

If Glock gets called out on it, all they have to do is release the following statement:

"The Glock Corporation has reached the painful decision to desist from doing further business with the NYPD or any other agencies of New York City's government pending receipt of a public declaration from Mayor Bloomberg that both he himself as a private citizen, and his city's legal department will no longer pursue frivolous lawsuits in violation of federal law against the Glock Corporation or its subsidiaries. We look forward to a time when Mr. Bloomberg returns to governing his city instead of assaulting the 2nd Amendment rights of citizens who live outside of his jurisdiction; and instead of wasting the courts' time and resources to continually harass responsible corporations which carry out their business entirely within the context of federal law. Well known cultist L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of the Church of Scientology, is known to have famously said that "The purpose of the suit is to harass and discourage rather than win.*" This is, of course, an illegitimate use of the courts, and Mayor Bloomberg does not bring honor upon himself by applying those same illegitimate tactics against a legitimate business." This is rather curious logic. I don't think Bloomberg would be satisfied with ANY gun maker
since none of them have any desire to regulate gun shows and limit purchasers
to one gun at a time.

Customer : "I'd like to buy this Glock 23 and a Glock 26 too."
Salesman: "I'm sorry. You'll have to choose just one. Mayor Bloomberg might be watching."
