Snowing in Austin

It's snowing in Austin. I wish someone would close the gate in Oklahoma.

Well, this time it is not coming from Oklahoma, try Abilene. LOL

We are only having flurries at most here in the north end of DFW. All of the heavier stuff is expected down through Waco and Austin.

We don't mind sharing with you. :biggrinjester: We've already had more than enough for the year up here in North Texas. And I think we have another chance next week. Time for it to start warming up to get the fishing going a little better.

Leander high schools let out. An inch in Cedar Park. Are wiener dogs were less than pleased, but when your chest and, er sensitive areas are only an inch off the ground to begin with I can understand.

Dogs are tougher than we give them credit for, they are not that far from the wolves they came from after all.
Really its heat that will kill a dog, not alittle snow

Yep, with the possible exception of ancient nearly hairless wonder wienies who would much rather burrow under the blankets. My mom's mountain dog mix pants when its 35 degrees F in a 20 mile an hour wind. :eek6

My lab just loves the snow - the layer of lab flab is great insulation. I've seen her swim in water that still had ice in it. I forgot to put her invisible fence collar on this morning when I let her out. After driving all over the neighborhood, I got a call (thank goodness for the phone number on her tag). She was having a grand ole time playing with three kids in the snow. She really didn't want to leave.
