I have been preparing to take the instructors course, I have already signed up but I am having second thoughts. Now, I like teaching, especially to those who have a desire to learn and I would love to see every able man and woman CHLed. However, I see logistics being a issue but even more so getting enough people to make a class. I would think 8-10 would be minimum in order to be financially worthwhile. I am just not sure about putting forth the marketing efforts. I would not mind substitute teaching as a option. I would also consider teaching pistol/rifle classes.
I have a place to teach, shoot, I can do fingerprinting, Notary, and photos are not a problem. Just not sure how to locate customers.
I will keep up with the board as its invaluable info

Re: Just wanted to drop in and say hi
Its just getting yourself out there . They will find you , for their needs. Just make yourself more desireable or appealing to them.
i just takes alittle time sometimes , dont expect just to have full classes. We can all wish for that.
I usually got from 4-15 students, I like the more personal one on one class. Like next sunday I have one student so far , but I`m going to do it. i may get others from him.
