Daytona Beach, Florida -- A 64-year-old man shot his 71-year-old wife. He claimed all three shots were accidental. He was charged with multiple felonies. She is recovering in the hospital.

He has a history of domestic violence arrests back to 1992.

Conway, North Carolina (middle of nowhere) -- A 60-year-old man shot his adult granddaughter several times during an argument. She was not seriously injured. He was charged with Assault and Battery With Intent to Kill.

Chesapeake, Virginia -- A 26-year-old Marine sergeant was charged with involuntary manslaughter after fatally shooting his 9-month-old daughter in the family home.

Springfield, Illinois -- A 22-year-old woman and her 26-year-old "boyfriend" were charged in connection with the shooting of the woman's 3-year-old son. Police said the boy suffered a non-life threatening injury to his buttocks.
