.380 Shoot-Off G&A 2010
The new Guns and Ammo 2010 New Guns Preview has some 380's they tested and i am thinking about getting a smaller carry gun.
I like the Kahr P380, the Ruger LCP and Walther PK380.The Sig P238 ain't bad.Any other pistols that size i might also look at?

You might want to check out the Diamondback 380. I've never shot one, but I've heard good things. Maybe someone here can give you their opinion on it.

Several of the forum members have the Bursa Thunder which is a reliable gun. And don't leave out the Walther PPk/s.
I guess it depends on what features you really like. Double action only like the LCP and the Kahr. Single action only like the Sig P238, or the DA/SA feature of the PPk/s. I tend to favor the DA/SA type actions myself.
Texjames, what guns did G&A review?

Smith and Wesson is supposed to be releasing a 380 within the next month or two with an integrated laser.

Doan fogit tha cheapie of the fambly: Kel-Tec P3-AT. Lightest, cheapest, bestest. It is my preferred backup to the backup. It is so light you can roll it up in the arm of your teeshirt like a pack of coffin nails.

I 've had my Kel-Tec for years and love it. Very reliable and it was cheap!
My posts on this website are worth every cent you paid me for them.

Don't forget the last time S&W tried to make a pocket .380.
You can hardly give them away now.
I have the KT & the Ruger LCP, both work fine. Both are light and flat, both have had trigger reset issues
Currently using a Sig P238, but I don't like that it's SA only
The ideal would be a P238 in SA/DA.
PPK is SA/DA, but it's too big for a pocket .380

You must be talking about this one below.I thought they were pretty cool when they first came out and bought one right away.Rex B wrote:Don't forget the last time S&W tried to make a pocket .380.

I carried it for nearly 8 years.Probably have not shot 50 rounds through it.It did go bang everytime though.
I plan to carry it again when i get my CHL back(expired 2004) until i can find something else like we are discussing here..
I have my Glock 33 for under a coat but it show under my shirt tails(prints).

That's the one. I believe your's is the first positive post I have seen on the subject.
Plenty of negative information on them.
I'll still take a look at the new one, especially if it's DA/SA

I'm with you RexB. I was getting ready to get excited over the new Smith. It's hammer fired, but DAO., which is disappointing.
