We have several members who make holsters and are very good at it. You don't want to get a "cheap" holster. Buy a very nice holster and you will not be disappointed.

Thanks. What is the price range and how do I get in contact with these members?

Here is a post of holster resources:

A couple of the members are particle and RiverRat. Do a "search" for those members and shoot them an email.

I have been quite pleased with the quality of Don Hume holsters for concealed carry. They are not real cheap, but are generally lower cost than most other quality holsters such as Galco or Safariland. I have quite an assortment of their leather holsters and have never been disappointed with any of them.

If you are looking for a good quality - cheap - holster for competition such as IDPA or IPSC, take a look at Bladetech available from Midway.

Tom is correct. Bianchi is not a bad holster and they are reasonable. I know that I just like good leather because it will last a life time. Particle has made me some fine leather at great prices. Here is one he has made me.

Don't take this the wrong way, but if you spend $500 or so for a gun, why would it be a problem to spend another $100 for a holster?

That's a good looking holster. Very reminescent of the Galco Summer Comfort I used for years with my G23. But I really like the addition of that top strip of leather to block the rear of the slide from rubbing against your body.

Not trying to toot my own horn or anything, but someone suggested I pipe in on this conversation. I didn't get a chance to take final photos before I shipped it off to an LEO customer, but he was very happy with this holster I built for him and his G19. Note that this photo was taken before the edges were dyed and burnised, and final finishes were added.

Also, the holster that carlson1 posted was my very first attempt at an IWB holster. I have since revised the pattern slightly so the gun would ride lower on the belt. I attached an updated pic. Pic isn't as cool as the previous one that I took that he posted... :oops:

Fine looking leather Sir. Do you do it for a living or a hobby?

Thanks! It's a hobby/startup home business that also helps to supplement my wife's lost income so she can stay home with our new baby. Hoping to grow the business if the stars align, but it's hard while holding down an 8-5 and two home-based side jobs and 3 kids.

Just sent you a PM. Carlson1 was the first person I've built an IWB for, so I haven't officially started listing them on my website yet.

May want to consider the Front Line IWB holster holster for ~$40. http://shop.talontraininggroup.com/Insi ... FL22xx.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Seems to do the job and is holding up well.
