Aim it. Pull the trigger. Realize that full-auto is not that practical for self-defense. Sell it. Get a good reliable pistol. Be happy.

I'm assuming since you're asking this question that you've run out of ammunition.

1. Remove magazine and perform physical empty check.

2. Swing or check like a baseball bat or hockey stick, respectively.

3. If bayonet is available, attach below barrel; use in a stabbing motion.

The best full auto guns for defense are tripod mounted belt fed heavy machine guns in hardened bunkers with interlocking fields of fire with artillery and air support.

Now if you mean personal defense they are virtually useless.

Huh? Where in the world this this post come from?? Just now joining the thread tonight, but what an odd question!

I agree with AndyC.....3 round bursts, but let me add....

In a defensive position, in an entrenched position(read that to mean foxhole or bunker), with proper illumination flares going off ever 90 seconds, and a good comm channel to your local field artillery unit.

And have it zeroed in at 100 meters.
