WRB Tuckable holster

Post by E150GT »

Just gonna through this out there for peeps on a budget like myself. I bought this WRB holster at a gun show for $35. Its made of cordura I think and is tuckable. They make a few models and this is for the Taurus PT111 and it fits like a glove. it also carries a life time warranty. I find it comfortable to carry at 3:30 - 4:00. It tucks reasonably well, but I usually dont use that feature. I have driven long drives with it and I was not uncomfortable either, although I think a lot of that has to do with the size of the gun. I like this holster well enough I will use it as long as I carry this gun, but I just ordered a CB supertuck deluxe for my Glock 23. Here are couple of pictures...

I have 3 WRBs, not the tuckable, but the models that have a pocket for an extra mag, and I have been happy with them. I use mine for truck console carry, and other similar storage though. I havent ever actually worn one of them. I know the models that I have are not very stiff and I think that re-holstering after a draw would be difficult becuase the holster would collapse. Maybe your model is stiffer.

Like yours, this one is a two handed job to reholster. I dont know at what shops to buy them locally at, but they have a website. http://www.wrbsales.com/holsters.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I've got a WRB that straps to the underside of my truck seat. Works great and you would never know it's there.

i use a WRB pretender for my daily carry holster. i carry a XD 9mm subcompact. i dont use the pretender part though, it fits my cell phone nicely (black berry 8900) but i prefer to carry the cell in my pocket.

I bought it at a gun show for about 35ish, its been too long for me to truly recall the price though.

the greatness of this holster for me though is i can also use it for my full size XD 45, which i sometimes carry instead of the 9mm.

**Edit - it is a slight pain to re-holster with this, but its not too bad. it is super easy to remove the gun/holster so i can go inside my kids school to pick them up, and then to put it back on. i can do it sitting in my truck with out being seen, which is nice.
