Pulling up a chair....

Post by cyphur »

Sent the packet out this afternoon via Registered Mail. I went through it about a half dozen times, made sure I had all the paperwork, all the fields were filled out, all the signatures in place. My instructor was impressed how well my prints came out, so I'm hoping they hold up.

Start the clock @ 28 Aug. We'll see how it goes.....

Mine says the same. Mailed 14-August. I called last week and was told that it can take up to six weeks ( ) from when they get it to show up on the web site. The nice lady even told me that they don't have any way to tell if it's in their hands other than checking the same info WE can check on their web site.

That sucks.

Their sloth-like updates on the website is pathetic. Its bad enough it already takes 2-3 months.

I was one of the "lucky" ones who paid online, my PIN came with my application packet.

My status will probably be updated after a full month, and then hopefully another 2 or 3 weeks and it'll be updated again

Well, I will be happy to help you stay busy while you wait. It was your Kimber picture that inspired me to check them out at the Gun show.

Yea it does. Glad you were able to get one! It is definitely a fine weapon. Only my second time out with it was my CHL class and I shot a 246. Funny thing is, my fliers were at 7yrds, not 15!

Is your IE or EE? Mine is EE and has issues feeding the last round of the mag. Oddly enough though, I've never had an extraction problem.

Glad to hear about the prints....thought ours looked good....but my wife had to do the digital ones....delayed her about 7-10 days from me...but then heard about the 7 rule...."every 7th set is pulled for a re-do" probably old wives tale....but good luck...enjoy your posts
