What email address are you using? I keep getting a guy named Rene and he seems to give useless information.

That's great news, Travis!

I've traded several emails with Rene and he's (assuming Rene is a he) been very helpful. Although, if I could, I'd slip him a $20 to get my license approved and printed this week and I'd pick it up myself on Friday! :smilelol5:

Just got off the phone with the nice lady. Sadly, she informed me that my application is still awaiting the background checks from the FBI, so I am affected by the delay. :cryin

According to Deidra (the nice lady) Rene is a he.

This is an example of what I get.
What I wrote ( I used one of the examples from a post):

Rene,

Just wanted to check with you on the status of my application and make sure you were not missing anything from me that you require. Thank you!

His response:

Your PIN # is ****

I already know my pin, I did my app on line and got the pin with the package. :confused5

Rene M. Is what my email said. He/she was very helpful. I Started off by asking if anything has changed in my process because it has said processing for the last 3 weeks. Then I asked them if my application was processed or did I mess something up again, and also asked if I beat the FBI deadline. There simple, your license is being printed email was the best response I could have hoped for. One sentances answered three questions, that's efficient in my book

I am not asking for a lot when I e-mail, but Rene has not been helpful to me at all. Every answer that he has given is not even an answer to what I ask. I should be a bit more understanding, I am sure that he has to deal with hundreds, if not thousands, of e-mails from us impatient thugs every day.

The next one that e-mails, ask him/her if he/she is a male or female. I have a hispanic male that works for me named Rene.

It's a long-suffering, agonizing, arduous, distressing, excruciating, laborious and vexatious expirience getting your CHL. It takes a lot of patience, equanimity, submission, and endurance. But remember; no guts, no glory. :patriot:
