What if he's practicing his draw? I don't see how this could be as dangerous as it is made out to be (except for deafening the baby in the event of misfire) if he's following several gun safety laws: checked to make sure it is unloaded with no ammo immediately accessible, and gun is pointed in safe direction.
That being said, I sure wouldn't do it, but maybe he's a stay at home dad with a CHL that runs errands frequently with his young child.

If he is practicing his draw he should practice with a pillow or somehting in place of the baby. If he is practicing his draw why does he have the constipated im hardcore look on his face and has someone taking his picture...which he is pointing the gun in their direction.
I think its safe to say he is not practicing his draw but wanted to get a "cool" pic of him and his gun.
