Shoulder Holster for a 1911

Post by RocTrac »

Well, I am in the market for a tight shoulder holster for a kimber pro series. I would like something that is high and tight to the arm pit. I have had a recent outting with my crossbreed IWB and would like something that will not show when my shirt rides up.
Thanks
Carl

Definitely check out what Galco has to offer.
Fully adjustable to get it as high and tight as you like.
They have some really nice leather ones to go with that really nice gun.

Galco is probably the best choice, but remember that they are usually not very good for Texas Summers.........
Winter is a different story and I am sure you would be pleased with Galco quality.

Shoulder holster is a bit difficult to draw from if under a T-Shirt! :smilelol5:

But I guess if you had it outside a tucked in T with a lightweight open cover shirt it would work for concealment/draw, but still two layers of clothing on your upper body on a Texas Summer day is gonna remind you that you should have considered your decision a bit more!

Well, I am usually wearing a tank and t shirt. So a light weight button up and tank will be fairly normal for me. At work I am usually in a heavy work shirt and undershirt. I looked at the Galco and will be checking on one personally soon.

I own one, and it is a great holster.
