NC: Man shoots wife with toilet-paper wad
In Reidsville, North Carolina (middle of nowhere), a man shot his wife with a black-powder weapon loaded with a wad of toilet paper after she came home late. She was treated and released. He is charged with felony assault.

Fear, anger, hatred, and greed. The devil's all-you-can-eat buffet.

i take it he probably shot spitwads as a child.
Re: NC: Man shoots wife with toilet-paper wad
Gotta give the guy credit for not claiming that the gun went off accidentally while he was cleaning it like so many folks in similar situations do.

Marriage counseling? When the relationship erodes to the point that you're loading a pistol with toilet paper to make a point, it is probably time to call it quits.

Church bingo lasted longer than expected and she forgot to bring home his happy meal?
(at least it was just a toilet paper wad and not a real bullet-guess he was trying to tell her something?)

I wonder if she posted his $1000 bond. It seems a bit low for felony assault.seamusTX wrote:In Reidsville, North Carolina (middle of nowhere), a man shot his wife with a black-powder weapon loaded with a wad of toilet paper after she came home late. I dunno. If the guy has a clean record and a job and owns a house, he is likely to show up for trial. That's the only permissible purpose of a bond.

If it were not "new" it could be considered assault with a bioweapon of mass destruction.lowonair wrote:Oldgringo wrote:At the risk of upsetting delicate sensibilities, was the toilet paper new or......
