FL: Fireman in trouble for photographing dog shooting

In St. Lucie County, Florida, a "pit bull" went on a rampage. On this issue there is no doubt. Two people had to taken to the E.R. with bite wounds.

A LEO showed up and shot the dog with a "stun gun." That did not adjust the dog's attitude, so the officer finished the job with a shotgun. So far, so good.

A fireman photographed the shooting with his personal cell phone and presumably circulated the images. He was considered for discipline for violating department policy. Apparently the bureaucrats backed off quickly after public reaction.
