Cold Blooded Murder Here and I'm Grieving

Post by doc540 »

I'm heart heavy and on the verge of breaking down today.

20 year old girl was murdered last night.

She worked in one of her family's stores.

They robbed her and shot her in the head.

I remember her from when she went to school with my daughter.

She was quiet, very small, and everyone liked her.

No emo, no attitude, no problems, just a super sweet little girl.

And now she's dead.

I have no feelings of rage or revenge, just a deep, deep sadness today.

I am so sorry to hear about that.

I'm a pharmacist, and although I no longer work in a "drugstore" setting, I know far too many people who have been shot and/or killed in robberies, dating back over 30 years. A cash drawer is a powerful lure for the BGs. It's a sad thing that a person can't work to make an honest living without fearing for their lives.

Once again, I'm so sorry, both for your loss and for the continued decline in the moral fabric of this country.

Prayers from here Doc for you guys, the family and friends. Truly a tragedy for any life to be taken, especially so young.

Doc: I'm so sorry to hear of this tragedy. It also hits too close to home. I'll pray for you, your family and the girl's family.

I'll keep you in my prayers, I too know what its like to loose someone you know in such a cold blooded act and it is never easy to deal with. If there is anything I can do just let me know.

I am so sorry. What a senseless tragedy.

I don't know if you are a Christian, but in case you are:

Revelation 14:13 (King James Version)
13And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 (King James Version)
13But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Pray as though everything depended on God. Work as though everything depended on you. -St. Augustine

reformers in the morning, conservers at night. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Doc, you are human, and this is why you grieve.

The murderer is an animal, and this is why he/she did this.

That's about the best I can come up with in my rational brain.

I will keep you and the family of the young woman in my prayers.

The death of a young person is always tragic. When it is caused by an accident it is terrible, but when it a senseless murder by someone who has lost their humanity so greatly that they will take a stranger's life for a small amount of cash or drugs, it is impossible to comprehend. I will look for an opportunity to do something that will bless someone's life tonight in memory of this young lady. I hope she is resting in paradise this evening.
