6 to 10 days (it should show mailed at some point- probably 2 days from now) and then you are 3 to 5 business days from receipt)

Congrats!

Does this mean now that I am in the system if I get pulled over. Will an officer know if I have a CHL if I get pulled in the time I am waiting on my plastic? Do I run a risk if I am carrying under MPA?

I'm in this stage as well. I haven't been carrying under MPA (i know, i should be) but I figure if I get stopped that I will let the officer know because I have heard that it will show up in their system.

Also, 6-10 days is an estimate, it could be longer....

Took 10 days for me to receive plastic from this milestone. I see no issue with 'carrying in the car'. But INAL! If you are worried about showing up in the system and the explanation you will need to formulate, don't do anything to get pulled over.........

If the State converts a right into a privilege, the citizen can ignore the license and fee and engage in the right with impunity. -- Shuttleworth v. City of Birmingham

This is not always the easiest thing. Not sure what happened but the last time I had surgery I think they put led in my foot.

lol mine still doesn't show mailed on the system. I think the mail man knew what it was though because it was neatly on top of everything else in the mail box :thumbs2:

I went updated my DL about a week ago so that I would have my correct address on it. I wonder which I will get first, and if they are both going to say DPS On them. Oh the anticipation is killing me.

I'm in the same boat and DPS said about two weeks or a little less. I know it sucks but you can do man!

Nope but I now have a new "best bud". I figure that he may bring me a present by Saturday. Assuming it actually is in the mail, it shouldn't take longer than that (said by someone who had a 3 week BCG)
6/23-8/13/10 -51 days to plastic

Congratulations!

In my case, it changed to "Mailed" on Friday morning (7/2/10) and I received it Tuesday (7/6/10), and that was with the holiday in between.

You might have yours by Saturday.

Time to setup up camp by the mailbox. I wonder of the mailman would think I am weird.
