Since 1959, more than 100 police officers and fire fighters have given their lives for the safety of our local communities. Anyone have any experience with these holsters? I've been considering one, but am interested in some others' perspectives. Seems like an affordable alternative to some of the higher end holsters. I'm not interested in flash how they look, just how they perform, comfort, and such. How it looks isn't really important, as it should remain concealed.....

I ordered mine saturday and it shipped tuesday. Pretty good since he makes them to order. I ordered mine based SOLELY on the reviews I saw on YouTube and from other forums. I was considering Crossbreed and MTAC when I came across a review on the kholster. I like that you can modify the leather (cut it) and it still stays under warranty... I will let everyone know my opinion on it as soon as it gets here... In the meantime, you should check out the reviews on YouTube.

My first IWB holster was a Kholster. Nothing flashy, but very functional and the price was right.
I did my own "combat cut" on it and it was even more functional.

It squeaked a little at first from the metal clips rubbing the leather, but eventually broke in.
When you first start wearing it, it will seem stiff and take some getting used to. After it starts to
conform to your body shape it will be much more comfortable. Soon after that, you may not even
notice it's there.

I just purchased a "Little Moon" kholster last week for my PF9, hasn't arrived yet. I wonder if the sale will work with the 10% and 25% discounts for the referral program.

I am not sure on that, the holsters will be $39.11 on 9/11. which is already 20% lower than what he normally sells them at. Plus he is donating $3 for every holster he sells.

I've owned one for several months and have made "combat cuts" on it. It compares favorably with the Crossbreed Supertuck (which I also own). No complaints ... and it is far less expensive than the Crossbreed product.

I got one about a month ago for my Taurus 605. They don't make one for the 605, but the Baby Moon for J frames was close enough that is just took a little fitting with my heat gun to make it perfect. For what this type of holster is (about $8-12 worth of Kydex, leather and fasteners) I just couldn't imagine paying the price that CompTac, Crossbreed and some of the others are asking. In fact, I just made my own for my Kahr K40 and it works great. If you're not the DIY type, the Khoslter seems to me to be the best deal to be had for a hybrid holster. I haven't "combat cut" my Kholster, but I did remove the excess leather in front of the gun, as it tended to fold out and create a weird print on my shirt. If you don't like the basic metal belt clips that come with your Kholster, any of the other fancier clips form CompTac, etc... will fit. Personally, I like the basic steel clips as they are super strong and look just like the clips for 100 other things like cell phone cases.

I ordered my second one yesterday for my Glock 36. The one I currently have is now a week and a half old and nicely worn in (I wear it 14-16 hours a day). The only change I made to it was to trim off some of the leather that started to curl. Not quite a "combat cut" but it is definitely MUCH more comfortable.

I've been happy with my Crossbreed for my Bersa 9mm, but lately I've been thinking of giving my 1911 an occasional outing and didn't want to spend a fortune on something that wouldn't get much use.

This may well be the way forward, especially given the worthy cause.

I've attached a photo one of the clips on my kholster. It looks reasonably large enough to accommodate thick belts. I wear mine over the belt. I imagine you can purchase the different clips both Crossbreed and CompTac offer and attach them to the kholster as well.


I received this little moon holster for my PF9 yesterday. Already made the "combat cuts." The leather is much softer than the crossbreed, which I like. All in all, I'm very satisfied with the purchase, can't get much better than this for $45 shipped (I had a 10% off code and purchased before I heard about this sale ).
